The Education Bureau (EB) develops and facilitates the implementation of education-related policies, stimulates and supports innovation in education, provides didactic advice, and develops and maintains quality-assurance processes and systems. Administrative tasks include the admission of students, matching students with fellowships, registration of students, and handling of fellowships. The Education Bureau also administers all educational offerings and is responsible for scheduling, logistic planning, marks administration, issuing diplomas and organizing academic ceremonies. EB organizes UTQ and advanced didactical training for teaching staff. The e-learning Support Team – a collaboration between EB and the IT department – manages and develops the virtual learning environment (VLE) of IHE Delft and supports its use for on-campus and online education. All activities are geared to establishing a better quality, transparent and more innovative approach to education.
The e-learning Developer is part of the pedagogical team within the Education Bureau and cooperates closely with academic staff and IT colleagues in support of e-learning. Day-to-day guidance is provided by the Senior Education/Didactics Expert. The main tasks are to: (1) guide and assist (teams of) teachers in the design and development of e-learning products (online, F2F, blended and open courses), (2) facilitate the selection and use of appropriate educational tools and solutions to enhance the learning experience of students, and (3) ensure fit-for-purpose and user-friendliness of the Moodle-based VLE platform of IHE Delft. Other tasks may include the management of project funds for e-learning development, didactical training of staff and inputs in institutional capacity development projects.
Candidates have hands-on experience in e-learning technology and education development, are team workers and are output-oriented. They develop tutorials and templates, and help out individual staff members who either need inspiration to achieve their teaching goals or face problems in using the VLE.
The employment contract is for 0.8 - 1 fte/ 32 - 38 hours.

The candidate will be stationed in Delft, the Netherlands, and needs to be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
